Dr. Greet Baestaens, DPT

Dr. Greet Baestaens, DPT was born in Belgium and graduated in 1983 as a physical therapist from Coloma Institute-College Mechelen. At the same time Dr. Greet opened her first private practice from 1983 till 1995 in Belgium. She continued her love for learning and became a specialist in pelvic floor rehabilitation from the University of Leuven.

She moved with her 2 kids in 1995 to Saint Joseph Michigan and worked for several years in home care and outpatient at a local hospital in Saint Joseph Michigan.

Dr. Greet earned her Doctor of physical therapy at Rocky Mountain University in 2003 and opened her private practice, LB physical therapy at 2800 Niles Road, Saint Joseph Michigan.

She graduated in 2011 as a certified Natural Health specialist from Trinity school of natural health. In addition, she graduated in 2012 as a certified Yoga teacher.

Dr. Greet took several years to explore one of her passions by working as a professor, teaching women's health in Andrews university.

Dr. Greet founded Aging Fit Physical Therapy and Saint Joseph Laser Therapy Clinic in 2019. She purchased an MLS Laser Therapy unit to work in conjunction with her already thriving Physical Therapy office.

Recently, Dr. Greet started a non-profit organization in the beginning of 2019, CAN, the cancer alliance of neighbors. 

In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and if there is any time left she loves to practice Yoga.
